What stocks is Congress buying?

The stocks bought by the most House members over the last 90 days, from the disclosures they are required to file. Latest trade in our data: October 28, 2026.

Read this list with three caveats.Members have up to 45 days to disclose, so the last weeks are always incomplete. Amounts are brackets (“$1,001–$15,000”), so we rank on how many members bought, not on money. And trades by a spouse or dependent child count, because the form does not separate them. Only the House is covered; the Senate blocks automated access.

Bought by the most members, last 90 days

Ranked on distinct members with at least one purchase, then on number of purchases. The sales column is the same period, so a stock that twelve members bought and twenty sold does not look like a favourite.

Members who bought the most, last 90 days

Counting purchases the member, a spouse or a dependent child disclosed. A high count can reflect many small trades in one account rather than a view on each stock.

How to read congressional buying

A disclosure is a record of what a member reported, not a signal that arrives in time to trade on. The STOCK Act gives a member 45 days from the trade, and the list above is built from the trade date, so a purchase can appear weeks after it happened. That delay is the main difference from insider buying, where a company’s own directors must file within two business days.

Several members buying the same stock is more interesting than one member buying many, and a stock that appears here and in the insider list is worth a look at the company page, where both sides are shown together. Neither is advice to buy anything.
